Jennifer Rivera

Jen Rivera is a freelance writer, novelist, and adjunct professor of English. She holds both an MA and MFA in Creative Writing from Monmouth University. Her fiction has appeared in literary magazines, and she is a two-time contributor to The Year's Work in English Studies (Oxford University Press). A longtime fan and scholar of Ween, she will present what is believed to be the first academic paper on the band this fall at the Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music, arguing that Ween's sprawling, genre-hopping catalog functions as a postmodern map of American musical identity.
