Competition among British retailers for the title of “Best Holiday Ad” is intense with each vying to sponsor the year’s most talked-about spot. The song, in case you didn’t know, is Oasis’ “Half the World Away” written by that band’s Noel Gallagher but covered here (quite memorably) by the singer Aurora.
