The Rolling Stones Are “Living In A Ghost Town”

As the tabloids would say, “Rock stars – they’re just like us!” Meaning that they’re in quarantine, too. The Rolling Stones had planned a big tour this year, which is clearly off the table. They were a last-minute add to last weekend’s “One World Together,” doing a Zoom version of “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” (complete with Charlie Watts on “air drums”).

Now, they’ve given us a new song to add to our “stay home” soundtrack, appropriately titled, “Living In A Ghost Town.” It’s the group’s first original song since 2012, and one that had actually been in the works last year before this whole virus thing. Mick and Keith decided to put it on the front burner and then re-worked it remotely with the rest of the band.

In an interview, Jagger noted that “Living In A Ghost Town” is “the one song we thought would resonate through the times.” Have a listen and let us know what you think!
